Taylor Wimpey Manchester is celebrating a brand-new community after successfully selling out at its Harts Mead development in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Launched in 2020, Harts Mead has provided the community with 195 new homes designed with modern living in mind. Located just outside of the popular market town of Ashton-under-Lyne, Harts Mead is now home to a popular and friendly community, showcasing the demand for quality homes across the Greater Manchester area.
Over the years, Taylor Wimpey has actively supported numerous local causes close to its Harts Mead development, aiming to enhance strong community ties while empowering the wider Ashton-under-Lyne area.
In 2024, Taylor Wimpey donated £1,200 towards NorthCare Oldham Hospital to enhance sensory equipment and spaces for children undergoing treatment. The local housebuilder also donated £500 to support Ashton United Football Club’s charity, ‘Ashton United in the Community’, showcasing their ongoing support for the local community.
As part of its Section 106 community contributions, the housebuilder provided over £174,000 to public open space contributions across Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside.
Rachel Barber, Sales and Marketing Director, at Taylor Wimpey Manchester, said: “We’re so excited to be celebrating another successfully completed community in Manchester. We’ve truly enjoyed our time building the development and supporting both residents and the wider community, and we hope all residents are proud to call Harts Mead home.
“As we celebrate the closing of our Harts Mead development, we also encourage any home buyers to explore our new development, Lever Valley, located in Bolton.”
