Costa Coffee unveils colourful Spring menu with new Ube drinks

Costa Coffee is welcoming the new season with a vibrant Spring menu packed with colourful drinks, flavour-filled lunches and classic Easter bakes – landing in stores across the UK and Ireland from Thursday 5 March 2026.

As the days grow longer, the nation’s favourite coffee shop is leaning into brighter flavours and Instagram-ready sips, alongside comforting classics designed for coffee breaks, lunch on the go and afternoon treats.

Dreamy new drinks for Spring 2026

Taking centre stage this season are two striking new additions:

  • Sweet Ube Hot Chocolate

  • Sweet Ube Frappe

With their signature purple hue, these indulgent drinks combine creamy vanilla sweetness with a subtly nutty finish, topped with a light whip. Eye-catching and comforting in equal measure, they’re set to be a standout for Spring.

Joining the expanding matcha line-up is the Cherry Vanilla Iced Matcha Latte, blending smooth matcha with a fruity cherry vanilla sauce for a refreshing seasonal twist – handcrafted by Costa’s baristas.

Tea lovers are also catered for, with tea now available at more than 13,000 Costa Express machines nationwide, making it easier than ever to grab a brew on the go.

For those recreating their Costa moment at home, a new Smooth Medium Blend Instant Coffee has launched in Iceland and Morrisons. Available in Smooth, Intense and Decaf, the blend is inspired by Costa’s Mocha Italia signature taste, offering a rich aroma, silky texture and caramelised brown sugar notes.

Fresh, flavour-packed lunches

Costa Coffee’s Spring menu also introduces new lunchtime options with bold flavours and seasonal twists.

Leading the line-up is the Bacon, Mature Cheddar and Chilli Jam Hot Cross Bun – a sweet-meets-savoury creation filled with beechwood smoked streaky bacon, sliced mature cheddar and smoky chilli relish, all tucked inside a fruited hot cross bun.

Also new is the Chicken Salad Sandwich, featuring roast chicken breast with lemon and black pepper mayonnaise, tomato, cucumber and lettuce on malted bread – a lighter, balanced option perfect for Spring.

Easter classics and sweet treats return

For those with a sweet tooth, the new Strawberry & Matcha Cookie Sandwich combines a white chocolate and matcha cookie with strawberry jam and matcha frosting, finished with pink icing drizzle and freeze-dried strawberry pieces.

Spring wouldn’t be complete without Easter favourites, including:

  • A traditional Hot Cross Bun made with sultanas, raisins and mixed peel

  • The returning Chocolate Cornflake Nest

  • Caramelised Biscuit Rocky Road

  • The playful Iced Chick Gingerbread Biscuit

Each offers a nostalgic taste of the season, perfect alongside a coffee catch-up.

  • Matcha-inspired 12oz travel cup – compact and vibrant, ideal for coffee or iced matcha on the move.

  • Latte Ombré 34oz tumbler with straw – a warm, latte-inspired gradient design for year-round style.
