Historic logistics specialist LV Shipping has strengthened its position in the North East with a significant expansion at Infinity Park in Hebburn. The company has secured extra space at the Monkton Business Park site, adding momentum to what it describes as a period of sustained growth.
The new site matters. LV Shipping already operates from Unit 18 at 15,000 sq ft. Now it has taken over the neighbouring Unit 19, adding a further 10,000 sq ft to its footprint.
Founded more than a century ago, LV Shipping has built an international network spanning Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. Its UK headquarters remain in Middlesbrough, where the company continues to coordinate freight forwarding, storage and logistics work for a global customer base.
This latest move underscores the company’s determination to strengthen capability in a strategically important region. The expansion at Monkton increases capacity to manage new contracts, widen storage options and sharpen operational efficiency for customers.
According to managing director Lee Woolams, speed was key. “Once we learned about the opportunity at Monkton Business Park, we moved quickly. The Newcastle team love their current base and the timing worked well as they continue to grow. The strong relationships between both parties have helped deliver a smooth and efficient transition.”
Infinity Park itself is owned and managed by Hellens Group, whose chief executive Gavin Cordwell-Smith welcomed the development. “It is fantastic to see LV Shipping increase their presence at Infinity Park. Our development was designed to provide modern, flexible space for ambitious companies, and LV Shipping’s expansion demonstrates the strength of demand for quality industrial accommodation in this part of the North East. We are proud to support their growth.”
The move represents another chapter of investment and commitment from LV Shipping as it consolidates operations in a region that continues to attract industrial demand. The focus key phrase supports this story throughout: LV Shipping expansion in the North East signals confidence and ongoing ambition.
