Today, HARIBO UK has announced plans to open a new retail store in the iconic Trafford Centre in Manchester.
Head of Retail at HARIBO UK, Rebecca Fox, has commented: “We’re thrilled to be opening a HARIBO UK store in Manchester’s Trafford Centre. Our stores are a way to share even more moments of childlike happiness with HARIBO fans and we can’t wait for Manchester’s HARIBO-lovers and visitors to join in the fun!”

Every HARIBO store is designed to celebrate the spirit of childlike happiness, and when there, visitors will find a large variety of goods within which are sure to take them right back.
From a selection of UK familiar favourites (including the classic Starmix and Tangfastics), to new products such as Nostalgix and Alienauts, to even international varieties from Spain, France and Germany, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
HARIBO will also be bringing back the old-fashioned pleasure of being in a sweet shop, where they have installed a ‘Pick Your Mix’ station which holds more than 40 varieties of HARIBO and MAOAM treats.
If you’re already concerned about the sugar rush that you are sure to get in this shop – it is definitely still worth a visit for the exclusive HARIBO merchandise – including plushies, stationary, candles, and much more!
This store will be the confectionary leader’s 13th location in the UK – showing their continued efforts to invest in their retail business. The 11th store opened in Bluewater in February this year, HARIBO Silverburn will be the 12th store in the UK, and the next one planned is in a shopping centre in Glasgow later this month. In July, the team also celebrated the reopening of its Clarks Village store, where further refurbishments are due in the near future.
This does not take away from HARIBO’s efforts to invest in their existing locations also, to ensure that they continue to spread childlike happiness, through offering the best of playfulness and excitement for fans around the country.
